Krista Davis ph.D., C.psych.
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Davis is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Developmental Psychology from York University and completed her pre-doctoral residency at the McMaster Children’s Hospital. Over the course of her training, Dr. Davis has gained experience providing psychological services to children, youth, and families in hospital and community mental health settings.
Dr. Davis offers psychological services to children, youth, and families. She offers individual and family therapy to those struggling with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, and trauma. Dr. Davis also provides psycho-educational assessment of children and youth to evaluate learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities, and gifted status. Dr. Davis uses an integrative approach and tailors her practice to meet the needs of each client. She uses evidence-based approaches while helping clients to build upon their strengths. She works with individuals and families to build a strong therapeutic relationship and empower them to make positive changes in their lives.

Connie oates D.Clin.Psych.
Clinical Psychologist
Connie is a registered Psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience working with children, youth and families in private practice and hospital clinics. She has a caring compassionate style of engaging clients of all ages and a passion for early intervention and supporting families to find new ways to connect and grow together. She integrates a variety of evidence based approaches in her work and is commited to tailoring therapy to the unique strengths and needs of the individual and their family.

As a co-founder of the Peterborough Assessment and Therapy Clinic, Connie offers family and individual therapy, equine assisted therapy, formal psycho educational and diagnostic assessements for children and youth as well as counsultation and supervision to qualifying psychologists and psychotherapists. Areas of expertise include; challenges with emotion regulation, grief and loss, anxiety and mood problems, attachment, trauma, eating and feeding problems including selective eating and ARFID, atypical development (ASD), chronic pain, and supporting families of children with medical issues.

Connie gained her undergraduate degree from Guelph University and continued her post graduate studies at Massey University in New Zealand completing a Masters in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology. Through her training and registratioin she gained experience providing Psychological services in hospital and community based mental health settings in NZ and Ontario.​​​​​​

Lise Leahy BsC FdSc, RD, CDE
Registered Dietitian
Lise has been working as a registered dietitian in pediatric nutrition for over 25 years . She has worked in hospital setting in both in-patient and out-patient clinics, and in her private practise. Her experience includes all types of nutritional issues in babies, children and teens.
Lise has particular expertise in: feeding issues (selective eaters with or without sensory challenge), eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, ARFID), digestive and gut problems (including constipation, allergies and food intolerances), slow growth in infant and children, enteral nutrition (non oral nutrition).

She graduated from dietetics at McGill University and is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, Licence #1223. Lise has completed other training including: maintaining Certified Diabetes Educator, SOS feeding training, Ellyn Satter Institute for feeding, eating disorder training: FBT ( Family Based Therapy), CBT-AR (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for ARFID) , food allergies and intolerances : Vikerstaff Health .

Lise has helped hundred of families resolve feeding and nutrition challenges. Using evidence based information and client centred care provides a solid base that enables her clients to achieve their nutrition goals. ​​​​​

Alex Bernacki MACP
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
With over five years of experience in the mental health field, Alex has focused on supporting children and youth across various settings, including schools, group homes, and private practice. She recently earned her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, where she continued to develop her skills in counselling to provide client-centred, and impactful support to her clients.

Alex has a warm, empathetic, and compassionate style of counselling, often integrating experiential tools such as art and games to engage children and youth in their therapeutic journey. She is passionate about creating a strong therapeutic relationship based on collaboration and authenticity, tailoring her approach to fit the unique needs of each client. Alex has experience supporting children with challenges related to emotional regulation, depression, self-esteem, phobias, and trauma. She also has a special interest in helping children struggling with anxiety and incorporates the family in sessions to foster connection and collaboratively develop effective strategies for both parents and children. Alex also often works with adults in areas such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, attachment, and challenges in relationships.
She is currently pursuing additional education to become a Certified Clinical Child & Adolescent Anxiety Treatment Professional. Alex offers individual therapy, child-centered family therapy, as well as equine-assisted therapy.

Madisyn Brownlee Msw
Registered Social Worker
Maddy is a Metis, Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Maddy completed a Bachelor of Social Work at Trent University as well as a Master of Social Work specializing in Mental Health & Health at the University of Toronto. Over the course of her career, Maddy has had the opportunity to work across multiple settings with children, youth, adults and families.
In her work, Maddy draws from multiple evidence-based approaches to provide holistic and culturally-centered therapy services to children, youth and families. Building on the unique strengths and needs of each individual, Maddy focuses on the therapeutic relationship through a compassionate and conversational style to create a safe, non-judgemental and empowering environment. Maddy's areas of expertise include complex trauma and resiliency, challenges with emotional regulation, anxiety and mood struggles, sports performance, and eating disorders. Highlighting the experiences of each individual, you will be met with empathy and support to create a unique plan for meeting your/your family's goals.
In her free time, Maddy can be found hanging out with her pets, Smudge and Colby, spending time outdoors, or on the rugby pitch as either a player, or a coach! ​​

Margaret Avery RD, BSc, Msc CITI Researcher
Registered Dietitian
Margaret is a registered dietitian with over 30 years of clinical practice experience across inpatient, outpatient, and private settings. She has led hospital dietetic internships and serves as a speaker for Fresenius Kabi, specializing in supplemental parenteral nutrition.
Margaret’s primary clinical focus is on managing major organ complications, including renal, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and endocrine conditions. She also has a keen interest in genetic and clinical conditions, which enhances her ability to provide patients with accurate and relevant health insights. Her commitment to engaging individuals and groups allows her to clarify health issues and treatments, empowering patients with knowledge.

Academically, Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from St. Francis Xavier University and a Master of Science from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, with honors in Biochemistry. She has completed further studies at Athabasca University, Trent University, and Toronto Metropolitan University. She also serves as an
editor reviewer for the Nutrition and Clinical Practice journal, contributing to peer-reviewed clinical nutrition education.

She believes that understanding the complex nature of nutrition conditions can empower patients to live fully, embracing their gifts and adapting to health challenges with resilience.​

Janice Austin MSW
Registered Social Worker
Janice is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Her therapeutic work has focused largely on children's mental health, parenting, and families in transition during separation and divorce. Janice has clinical experience serving on the clinical panel of the Office of the Children's Lawyer since 2011.
A separation or divorce is one of life’s most challenging transitions. The loss of a significant relationship can cause distress and grief. Janice offers support to families experiencing change and transition related to separation and divorce include child/youth counselling, parent counselling, couples/coparenting counselling for parents experiencing a separation or divorce, decision making responsibility and parenting time assessments, parenting plans, and voice of the child reports.
Janice provides a person centered, strength-based approach that is inclusive, collaborative and non-judgmental. Discomfort is often the cost of growth, and that discomfort can be what motivates people to take the time to look at themselves and their situations through a different lens. Janice’s goal is to develop strategies and supports that match the needs and goals of the children, youth and families seeking that support.
Janice completed a Bachelor of Social Work at Carleton University as well as a Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto. She is a lifelong learner and regularly participates in learning opportunities to ensure she is knowledgeable and current in evidence-based practice in the field. Janice is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed Practice, Motivational Interviewing, working with 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, and has specialized training in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.

BRITTANY STANLEY SLP, Reg. Caslpo
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist
Britt is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with 11 years of clinical experience working with children and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Britt’s primary focus is on feeding and swallowing across the continuum from birth into old age.
Britt has a particular interest in paediatric feeding and swallowing - assisting with bottle feeding, transitioning to and advancing solids, transitioning to cup drinking, improving oral motor skills, selective (“picky”) eating, and concerns related to the safety of the swallow.
Britt gained her undergraduate degree in Linguistics from the University of Ottawa and continued on to receive her masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta. She is consistently participating in new learning to stay up to date on the latest research in the fields of feeding and swallowing.
Eating is about more than nutrition. Britt strives to make eating and mealtimes enjoyable for the family as a whole.

TIFFANNIE CHROBAK B.A.
Psychology Student
Tiffannie is a Master of Psychology practicum student at Adler Graduate Professional School. She believes in the importance of creating a supportive and compassionate space for clients to explore their experiences and challenges.
With a background in peer support from her time on a youth-centred helpline, she supported young people with challenges such as suicide, self-harm, eating difficulties and anxiety from a strengths-based, client-centred approach. Tiffannie values active listening, affirmation, curiosity, and empowerment in her work with youth and their families. She deeply believes in the inherent resources each person has within themselves and that therapy is the process of discovering those strengths together.
Tiffannie integrates various aspects of Solution-Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals build resilience, create a meaningful life, and navigate life’s complexities. She also has a particular interest in the different ways our environment shapes mental well-being, taking a holistic and client-centred approach to therapy.
